This site and project are built on simple principles. I want to minimize my contribution to surveillance capitalism
- No trackers, no profiling, No ad networks
I don’t run Google Analytics, ad trackers, or any other surveillance tools. I have zero interest in building profiles, selling data (not that I even could), or following you around the internet. - What’s collected.
If you subscribe to the newsletter or make a purchase, the only information I collect is what’s needed to deliver what you signed up for – like your email for sending the newsletter, or your name and payment info for a purchase (through the payment processor). - How it’s used.
Your info is used only to deliver files, updates, and occasional communication about my work. Nothing more. If you do not explicitly subscribe to the newsletter for updates, I will never send you unsolicited e-mails. Purchases do not add you to any mailing lists. - Cookies.
When the site sets any cookies, they’re strictly to ensure basic functionality. Not for tracking, not for advertising. - Third-party services.
This site sometimes uses third-party embeds (for example: video players, payment processors, or storefronts like Cults3D or Gumroad). These services may set their own cookies or collect data beyond my control. I encourage you to check their policies if you’re concerned. - Your control.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can also reach out directly if you want your info removed.
No AI-Generated content
All Chthonic Bearcult sculpts and designs are 100% human-made. No AI art, no machine-generated “content,” ever. I do not use AI to create concepts, fake renders / photos. Period.
The only situation where I may use AI is with polishing or translating my text as English is not my first language, but even then with very minimal adjustments.
This is a one-person studio, not a tech giant. I make miniatures, not surveillance systems. Your trust matters more than metrics.
